A very educational and inspiring book not only for Hindus alone but for anyone who wishes to learn more about Hinduism.
What appeals the best about the book is its simplicity in explaining the slokas with English translations. It will help the second generation growing up in United States to understand Hindu festivals and their religion better.
Love the chapter on Puja, Prayers and Recitals.
Page 160 9.1: 'Background' is very enticing the way Deepak explains with simplicity about Hindu festivals and the joy and power involved with it.
11.9 ‘What’s in a Dress and Your Appearance’ talks about embracing our Indian clothes with dignity. It is so true in the rush to blend in we might just not exist.
‘Hindus Awake’ is a must have for every Indian household
